HOW TO GET TO

FOOTPRINTS BEACH RESORT

From Manila / Angeles by air: 

 

Air - Swift is now flying out of Clark international airport at Angeles city. There are at the moment no longer any scheduled flights from Manila Int. airport to Tablas island. It takes around 1,5 - 2 hours by land travel to go to Angeles city and Clark airport from Manila.

 

Air - Swift

Flies 3 times a week vice versa on 

(Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday) from Clark (CRK) to Romblon, Tablas island, Tugdan airport (TBH). The flight takes around 1 hour.

Plan B:

You can fly from Manila international airport to Caticlan (Boracay) or Kalibo airport and travel by sea over to Tablas island. Please see the section below "From Caticlan (Boracay) by sea". Note that this will take some additional planning. 

 

 

From Manila / Batangas by sea:

 

You will need to get land transportation first to Batangas port.

There are always busses from the Buendia bus terminals or PITX or you can get a private transport. Be aware to first agree on the tolls and additional fees before you will get a private transport.

The drive takes around 1,5 - 2 hours from Manila to Batangas. From Batangas port you may take a ferry directly to Odiongan port of Tablas island. The ferry ride takes around 8-9 hours. The ferry companies that sails to Odiongan port, Tablas is:

Sails every day at 5PM vice versa Batangas port / Odiongan port. First come first serve ticketing. Note that it is not possible to book tickets online.

 

2GO Travel

Sails 2 times a week (Friday & Wednesday 9PM).

Plan B:

You can also get a ferry from Batangas port to Calapan in Mindoro and travel by land down to Roxas Mindoro (2-3 hours).

From Dangay port in Roxas there are 2 companies that sails total 4 times a week. The ferry ride takes around 2-3 hours.

 

Starlite Ferries sails from Roxas, Dangay port 2 times a week.

(Sunday & Wednesday 11AM)

 

Montenegro shipping lines sails from Roxas Dangay port 

2 times a week.

(Tuesday & Friday 4PM)

 

Plan C:

From Manila get land transportation to port of Lucena. From here there are ferries that sails to San Agustin in Tablas island.

From Caticlan (Boracay) by sea:

 

Caticlan, Panay - Odiongan port, Tablas isl. FERRY

By ferry. At the moment, 2GO Travel sails 2 times a week

(Thursday & Saturday 2PM). The ferry ride takes around 3 hours. Please visit their website https://travel.2go.com.ph/index.aspx for ticket reservations and updated schedule.

 

By bangka / pump boat. These are local wooden boats with outriggers and usually has a capacity of between 30 - 60+ passengers. Note that these are smaller boats so it is recommended to get the earlier trip as the sea is usually more calmer in the morning time. Afternoon the wind might pick up and the waves can get a little bit bigger in between the islands.

 

Caticlan, Panay - Santa Fe port, Tablas isl. BANGKA BOAT

There are bangka boats that sails 2 times a day between Caticlan and Santa Fe port in Tablas island. One sails at 8AM in the morning and one sails at 3PM. The trip takes around 1,5 -2 hours to cross. 

 

Caticlan, Panay - Looc port, Tablas isl. BANGKA BOAT

There is also a bangka boat that sails daily vice versa between Caticlan and Looc port in Tablas island. The trip takes around 3 hours.
